Resulting in Gratitude

This past Sunday was a turning point for me in many ways, and in making an illustration to give the events feeling, there was this for Psalm 50:15….you might call this “When Hearing ‘I Love You’ Isn’t Enough” as suggested by my sweet inspiration, Pearl.

And The Great Gardener said, ’Call on me when you need help…’ Psalm 50: 15 (C&SBV)

…and also this for Psalm 51: 17…you might call this “When Saying ‘I Love You’ Isn’t Enough” as suggested by my precious treasure, Pearl.

And I said to The Great Gardener, ‘You want me to be sorry and humble. Help me do good things that make you happy.’ Psalm 51: 17 (C&SBV)

MAYBE THESE ARE FOR YOU TOO?

I just had a story pop into my email box that began “How to…” This isn’t like that. I don’t write anything like that or draw things like that. I write and draw with open hands, trusting that the words and images will reach whoever needs them.

I cannot say, “Dear Reader, These are for you and how to solve your problems.” I don’t have my own solutions, much less solutions for anyone else.

What I can do is pray. I can pray that these illustrations and words will find the ones who need to see and hear them. I can pray that the Holy Spirit prompted their creation.

What I can do is pray that my illustrations and my words will reach those who need to see them and hear them. I can only pray that with the hope that God’s Holy Spirit prompted their creation. This should have been part of my original goals for “My Life With Gracie” to align with what Gracie thought was best.
