Parables Recorded by Matthew, Mark, and Luke

The first section of this book will focus on parables recorded by Matthew (in a red plaid flannel shirt), Mark (in a gold plaid flannel shirt), and Luke (in a blue plaid flannel shirt).

There are six parables told by Jesus that are recorded in the gospel stories written by Matthew, Mark, and Luke. They are shown in our illustration above as chicken farmers because that is what Pearl wanted. As farmers, they would “Feed The Chickens!” and as parable recorders, they would “Feed The People!”

Below is a listing with illustrations for each of the six parables recorded by Matthew, Mark, and Luke.

Parable #1…A Lamp on a Stand

Parable #2…New Cloth on an Old Garment

Parable #3…New Wine in Old Wineskins

Parable #4…The Sower

Parable #5…The Mustard Seed

Parable #6…The Tenants

Please stay with us as Pearl explains in her own chicken voice each of these parables.

Thanks to all of our Friends, Family, and Fans for reading, liking, and sharing! We will keep you in our prayers!

Sincerely,

John and Pearl, (with fond memories of Gracie, Bessie, Blanche, Emily, and Amelia) and our newest Little Buddy, Ernest
